Volunteers
Vegan and vegetarian volunteers work to find GAPS in the infrastructure that impede wholescale public shifts towards totally plant-based diets (not merely ideal factors - or perceptions and beliefs, but also material and knowledge gaps, such as lack of breathable nonleather shoes and gelatin in film and vehicle tires, lack of supportive social structure in some areas and well-developed educational curricula for schools. Then, we strategize towards the resolution of that infrastructure gap.

Of necessity, The Vegetarian Resource Center is volunteer-intensive. Vegans and vegetarians may JOIN the ‘Friends of the Vegetarian Resource Center’ (typically they are financial or strategic backers) on LInkedIn, but the Vegetarian Resource Center network on LinkedIn is for the volunteers and financial contributors themselves (not merely vegetarians who like all things vegetarian (or all things vegan).
